Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-06-14

By downloading or using Recall (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Recall is

Recall is an audiobook player. It plays DRM-free audiobook files (such as M4B) that you already own and provide from your own iCloud Drive or Files. The App does not host, sell, stream, download, or supply any audiobook content. It is your responsibility to ensure you have the legal right to play any file you import.

2. Your files and content

3. Subscriptions

4. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the App, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it for any unlawful purpose, including infringing anyone's copyright.

5. No warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will play every file format perfectly.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data (including imported files, highlights, or notes), arising from your use of the App.

7. Apple

These Terms are between you and the developer of Recall, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. The standard Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies to your use of the App; where these Terms and Apple's standard EULA conflict, the more protective of your rights applies to that point.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Terms. We'll update the "Last updated" date above.
